Steel Pipes & Tubes Manufacturing Facility with Backward Integration
1. Sarora (Tilda) Facility
Sambhv Steel Tubes Ltd. operates a fully integrated manufacturing facility in Sarora, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, covering 334,540 square meters. As India’s only single-location, backward integrated plant for Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) steel pipes, it produces key intermediates like sponge iron and mild steel blooms for in-house use, ensuring quality and cost control.
Pioneering the production of narrow-width HR coils through an innovative secondary manufacturing route, Sambhv employs induction furnaces and direct reduced iron (DRI) to maintain high quality while reducing costs. The product lineup includes ERW black pipes, galvanized iron (GI) pipes, and steel door frames, focusing on forward integration and diversification.
Sustainability is a priority, with a 25 MW captive power plant utilizing Waste Heat Recovery Boiler (WHRB) and Atmospheric Fluidized Bed Combustion (AFBC) systems, covering over half of the facility’s energy needs while minimizing emissions.
Located in the mineral-rich region of Chhattisgarh, the plant benefits from proximity to high-grade iron ore and coal, along with excellent rail connectivity for efficient distribution across India.
2. Kuthrel Facility
In addition to the Sarora facility, a new 73,980 square meter plant in Kuthrel is set to be commissioned, expanding the company’s capabilities to produce GP coils, GP pipes, stainless steel HR AP coils, and SS CR coils.

3. Kesda Facility
Upcoming greenfield facility in Village Kesda, District Baloda Bazar Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh for which approximately 350,653 square meters of land has been acquired by our subsidiary, Sambhv Tubes Private Limited.
No objection certificate (NOC) from the Kesda gram panchayat has also been received and the Hot Rolled (“HR”) mill for this facility has also been procured by us and is in the process of being imported.
