For our ERW steel pipes and structural tubes segment, we have a fully backward-integrated process that ensures consistent quality, reliable supply, and cost efficiency. This allows us to offer customers a wide product range, including ERW black pipes and tubes (hollow sections), pre-galvanized (GP) coils and pipes using non-ox technology, cold rolled full hard (“CRFH”) pipes, galvanized iron (“GI”) pipes, and steel door frames — all manufactured using high-quality raw materials produced in-house.

In the stainless-steel coils segment, our fully backward-integrated process enables us to provide our customers a comprehensive portfolio ranging from hot rolled coil and hot rolled annealed pickled (“HRAP”) coil to cold rolled coil, all produced through in-house processing of stainless-steel blooms/slabs.

Our single-location and strategically located end-to-end manufacturing facility makes us uniquely positioned to deliver uniform quality, faster turnaround time and adaptability to varied customer requirements.

Sarora (Tilda) Unit - 364,770 Sq. Meters

Founding step towards excellence

Sambhv operates a fully backward integrated manufacturing facility in Sarora (Tilda), Chhattisgarh, the plant produces intermediates like sponge iron, blooms/slabs (mild steel & stainless steel), hot rolled (HR) coils (mild steel & stainless steel) and cold rolled (CR) coils in-house as well as finished products like ERW black pipes, cold rolled full hard (CRFH) pipes and steel door frames. A 25 MW captive power plant supports sustainable operations through WHRB and AFBC systems.

The company's strategic proximity to key raw material suppliers such as NMDC and SECL provides a strong logistical edge — lowering transportation costs, reducing delivery timelines, and enabling greater efficiency in production. Additionally, its central location makes it a prominent logistics hub, ensuring easy availability of heavy vehicles, making the distribution of finished products across India faster, smoother, and more cost-efficient.

Stepping up Innovation towards excellence

This unit represents a significant expansion of the company's manufacturing capabilities, with a focus on producing value-added products such as pre-galvanized (GP) coils, pre-galvanized (GP) pipes and stainless steel HRAP and CR coils.

Strategically located near the Sarora (Tilda) unit, the Kuthrel unit benefits from shared infrastructure and logistical synergies, helping reduce transportation costs, shorten delivery timelines, and enable seamless coordination between the two units.

Kesda Unit - 404,800 Sq. Meters

Scaling up towards Infinite Possibilities

The company is establishing a state-of-the-art greenfield manufacturing facility at Village - Kesda, District Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh. Operated through our subsidiary, Sambhv Tubes Private Limited, this project marks a significant step in expanding our production footprint.

Key milestones achieved to date include securing the NOC from the Gram Panchayat and TOR from the MoEF, successful completion of the public hearing for Environmental Clearance by CECB, procurement of a 1.2 MMTPA hot rolling (HR) mill capable of producing mild steel as well as stainless steel, and completion of land acquisition.

Planned in phases, the Kesda project is set to add 1.2 MMTPA of finished product capacity, with Phase I targeted for commissioning by the end of FY27. Once operational, it will further strengthen Sambhv's integrated value chain, enhancing our ability to serve domestic markets, and firmly position the company at the forefront of India's steel manufacturing landscape.

Commitment to Quality
and Innovation

At Sambhv, we have adopted a series of process innovations to enhance product quality, optimise costs, and reduce dependence on external raw materials. These innovations have enabled us to easily diversify into value-added products while driving resource conservation and sustainable manufacturing.

Manufacturing HR coils through the secondary route of steel manufacturing:

Sambhv manufactures hot rolled (HR) coils using secondary route of steelmaking, wherein sponge iron is used as a primary input for induction furnaces. By leveraging in-house production of sponge iron, the Company has built a cost-effective model for manufacturing HR coils. This approach not only reduces the dependence on costly and increasingly supply-constrained quality steel scrap but also requires significantly lower capital expenditure compared to the primary route.

Manufacturing stainless steel using the AOD process:

The Company has adopted the Argon Oxygen Decarburization (AOD) process for stainless steel production. This method involves decarburisation, degassing, and refining of liquid metal in an AOD vessel. This ensures the production of high-purity, uniform stainless steel blooms and slabs. With this capability, Sambhv stands among a select number of players in India equipped to produce stainless steel, empowering it with a technology edge.

Manufacturing of alloy steel products:

Sambhv uses a ladle refining furnace (LRF) to produce high-grade alloy steel. This advanced metallurgical technology ensures homogeneous steel manufacturing by enabling precise control over the chemical composition and temperature. The process includes de-oxidation, desulphurization, dephosphorization (inclusion modification) and controlled alloy additions. As a result, the Company has developed the capability to manufacture alloy steel pipes, demonstrated through the successful production of corten steel pipes.

Captive Power generation from waste heat and by-products:

Sambhv's power generation is aligned with its sustainability goals and production efficiency targets. A Waste Heat Recovery Boiler (WHRB) based power plant captures and utilises flue gases from DRI kilns to generate electricity, conserving energy and reducing emissions. An Atmospheric Fluidized Bed Combustion (AFBC) boiler based power plant uses dolochar - a by-product of sponge iron manufacturing - as fuel. Since power is generated from waste heat or sponge iron by-products, the cost of generation is significantly lower, giving us a strong cost advantage in the manufacturing of steel pipes and tubes. This integrated energy solution reduces waste while ensuring energy self-reliance.
