MANUFACTURING PROCESS

The manufacturing of stainless-steel blooms and slabs involves several critical steps that are essential for achieving the desired quality:

Melting Process The melting of raw materials such as scrap and other ancillary minerals is performed in an induction furnace. This stage is crucial for ensuring that the steel reaches the necessary temperature for effective melting and homogeneity.

Argon Oxygen Decarburization (AOD) An additional refining step, the AOD process, is utilized to reduce carbon content and improve the quality of the stainless steel. This step is essential for producing stainless steel with the desired corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The AOD process enables precise control over the chemical composition, which is vital for applications requiring specific material characteristics.

Casting Process Itps a process where molten steel, derived from induction furnace and AOD, is poured into moulds. This process results in the formation of slabs of the required dimensions. The careful pouring and cooling of the molten steel help achieve the desired structural integrity and surface finish.

We primarily utilize our stainless-steel blooms and slabs for in-house production of stainless-steel HR coils. This strategic focus on vertical integration ensures that we maintain high standards of quality control throughout the production process, enabling us to deliver superior products to our customers.
